PM AM IT Services joined hands with Umang Foundation to work for the betterment of society through taking up social causes. As a part of these initiatives, a blood donation camp was organized on the 18th of December, 2014. Around 35 employees of PM AM IT Services voluntarily participated in this initiative. The Healthcare staff of Sir J.J. Mahanagar Raktpedhi, Byculla, Mumbai, took over the responsibility of collecting blood. Rahul Hindalekar (Project Leader) was the head of this blood donation initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Kumar, CEO of PM AM IT Services, said, “due to non-availability of blood, millions of lives are lost every year. Donating blood is a great way to serve humanity and save the life of others.” He further mentioned that, PM AM IT Services assumes responsibility for bringing about a positive change at all levels of the society.
In the coming months, PM AM IT Services plans on organizing many more of such social activities in collaboration with Umang Foundation. Mr. Pankaj Kumar said, “As a good corporate citizen, we will strive to meet the expectations of people. Through our social activities, we will make a contribution towards a better society for the future generations.”
Mr. Oniel Gracious, General Manager of PM AM IT Services, stated: “It is very difficult for individuals to make a contribution to such noble causes due to the lack of time and busy schedules that everyone follows. Therefore, it is the responsibility of corporate companies to take such initiatives by conducting activities within the offices wherein the employees can participate and contribute towards the society. PM AM will continue to organize such activities and give an opportunity to the employees to take such small efforts for the betterment of the community."
J.J. Mahanagar Raktpedhi acknowledged the initiatives taken by the PM AM team by providing them with a memento that was presented to Mr. Oniel Gracious by Shri Ashok Goyal, founder member of Umang Foundation.

The CSR unit of PM AM IT Services distributed clothes to the poor children and the needy in the Vakola Bridge slum area and at Bisleri Junction (Andheri East). This activity was carried out on the 15th and 29th March, 2015, by a team of twenty members including CEO, Mr. Pankaj Kumar and GM, Mr. Oniel Gracious. As a part of its social responsibilities, PM AM IT Services regularly organizes and participates in several activities aimed at the development of the society.
While speaking about this activity, Mr. Pankaj Kumar mentioned that “considering the unfortunate situations faced by the poor people, especially children, PM AM IT Services’ CSR team decided to distribute clothes and lend them a helping hand. These children were unable to purchase clothes for themselves and belonged to very poor background. Therefore, we decided to support them in times of need with compassion and kindness.”
“PM AM IT Services has a strong commitment to help and uplift the underprivileged sections of the society. I’m proud of many of our employees who have volunteered for this social cause to support and help people in need,” said Mr. Oniel Gracious.
As a leading corporate, PM AM IT Services also views it as its mission to contribute to the solutions for the issues faced by humanity. The company actively and positively contributes to the growth of underprivileged communities, and its efforts are appreciated by many. Previously, the company’s CSR initiative unit had raised fund for a kids’ education initiative. The company employees have also volunteered in regular blood donation camps organized by the company management.

PM AM’s CSR unit distributed food supplies to the poor families residing in the Bhandup (East) area. This activity was carried out on 18th and 25th April with the aim of helping underprivileged people with nutrition-enriched food supplies.
“Food is the most basic need, and then too, there are still many people around us who can barely manage to eat sufficient healthy food. Therefore, we decided to distribute food grains and other supplies to such families. PM AM IT Services has always contributed to the betterment of society, and this is one of our efforts to help in the eradication of hunger and poverty,” said CEO of PM AM IT Services Mr. Pankaj Kumar.
Each package of food supplies had ½ kg rice, 200gm. dal, and 250gm. sugar. These packages were distributed to the underprivileged families by the CSR team of 20 PM AM employees. While speaking about this activity, Mr. Oniel Gracious, General Manager of PM AM IT Services, said, “Many poor people in our country go to bed hungry every night. This activity by our company is an attempt to try helping such people and ensure that they have enough supplies and resources to live a healthy life.”
Mr. Oniel Gracious further mentioned that the recipient families were very happy to receive the food items. They all thanked PM AM IT Services for the gift of food. He also said that PM AM IT Services has a strong commitment to contribute to the betterment of society, and it will continue to actively participate in such social activities.
The CSR team of PM AM IT Services regularly conducts many such social activities. The company proactively organizes and participates in the social activities devoted to social causes. Previously, the company had organized a blood donation camp where several employees participated voluntarily. The company has also provided financial aid to provide educational supplies to underprivileged children.
With the aim of providing for a brighter future to underprivileged children, the employees of PM AM IT Services Pvt. Ltd. have undertaken a fund raising activity within the organization. For underprivileged children, who do not have resources for education, the employees have collected more than Rs40, 000/- from all departments of the organization. This money will be given to the ‘Kids Education Kit’ initiative of Umang Foundation.
While speaking about the motivation behind this activity, Mr. Pankaj Kumar, CEO of PM AM IT Services, said, “Our organization understands its responsibility towards society and organizes many activities to promote social causes. As we have joined hands with Umang Foundation to collectively work for a better tomorrow, our employees decided to raise funds for Kids Education Kit, which is an education-promoting activity of Umang. I am glad to inform you that our employees have given a helping hand to children for their education by collecting more than Rs40, 000/- within the organization itself. As primary education is still a distant dream for many children, more and more organizations should undertake such initiatives.”
Mr. Oniel Gracious, General Manager of PM AM IT Services, said “Children are the future of our country, and it is our responsibility to ensure that every child gets enough resources to study. The unavailability of study material is one of the biggest reasons why children give up on education. The employees of PM AM IT Services have decided to help such underprivileged children and give them an opportunity to learn and succeed in life.”
Through this Kids Education Kit initiative, study kits will be distributed in schools located in Ulhasnagar, Kalyan, Vithalwadi, Ambernath, Airoli, Thane, and nearby areas. This kit will include a set of notebooks and long books, pencils, pens, crayons, eraser, sharpener, ruler, compass box, geometry box, drawing book and kit holder bag. Since 2008, team Umang has distributed education kits in more than 20 schools.
The employees of PM AM IT Services have decided to organize such fund raising activities frequently to empower the children of our country with education and knowledge.
PM AM’s Prayaas is an initiative by PM AM towards support and self-enablement of the under-privileged around us. Prayaas was started in 2014 with a group of 6 individuals from within our organization with an aim to make a difference in society by whatever means and resources we had available. We started working and supporting initiatives like distribution of study kits to poor children, helping make more comfortable classrooms for children, distribution of food grains to the needy, blood donation drives and many others. Over the past year our team has grown, and is now a platform where individuals can come together and contribute towards the common goal to support and self-enable the needy.
